According to the South Korean Joint Staff Headquarters, the South Korean military monitored the launch of three short-range ballistic missiles by the North Korea in the area of Chungho-gun, North Hwanghae Province, towards the eastern waters of the peninsula.
The South Korean military said it has stepped up surveillance and vigilance and maintained a high state of alert through close collaboration between South Korea and the United States. This is the third ballistic missile launch by North Korea this month.
